Mariavittoria Masotina is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Liverpool. Her research interests are in the Human-Computer Interaction field. She embraces a user-centric perspective and a mixed methods approach integrating qualitative and quantitative methods
Mariavittoria obtained her master’s degree in Social, Work, and Communication Psychology at the University of Padova in 2017. Afterwards, she joined the Human Inspired Technology (HIT) Research Centre team. She completed her PhD in Brain, Mind, and Computer Science at the University of Padova in March 2023 with a dissertation titled “The principle of transparency as a design goal and as a discourse topic: two case studies”.
