Mariavittoria Masotina is a research assistant in the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Liverpool. Her research interests are in the Human-Computer Interaction field. She embraces a user-centric perspective and a mixed methods approach integrating qualitative and quantitative methods.
Mariavittoria obtained her master’s degree in Social, Work, and Communication Psychology at the University of Padova in 2017. Afterwards, she joined the Human Inspired Technology (HIT) Research Centre team. From 2019, she was a PhD student in Brain, Mind and Computer Science at the University of Padova, and she recently defended her PhD thesis titled “The principle of transparency as a design goal and as a discourse topic: two case studies”.
